What people are saying

“I visited Iconic Nails Spa with my daughter, arriving at approximately 2:10 PM for two pedicures and two SNS manicures. During my pedicure, I noticed that my toenail polish had been applied unevenly, with areas of my natural nail still visible and polish left on my skin. After I pointed this out, the owner had the nail technician redo my toes, which I appreciated. After our pedicures, we moved on to our SNS manicures. My daughter received French tips with a single flower design on her middle finger, while I received an SNS manicure. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. My nails were not shaped evenly or proportionately, and the cleanliness underneath the nails was not what I expected from a professional salon. The finished result did not reflect the quality I anticipated. I was also surprised by the additional charges for both an SNS extension and a length fee. After reviewing the pricing with the manager, they were very considerate and took the time to explain the breakdown of our total bill, which came to $310. While I appreciated their professionalism and willingness to review the charges, I want future customers to be aware that these additional fees may apply. Personally, I have never been charged both an extension fee and a length fee for nails this short, so I left unsure of the distinction between the two charges and why both were necessary. For context, our services included two pedicures, my SNS manicure with extensions, and my daughter's SNS manicure with French tips and a single flower accent. The biggest disappointment, however, was the amount of time the appointment took. We arrived at 2:10 PM. I finished at 5:25 PM, and my daughter did not finish until 6:11 PM. Even though our services were performed simultaneously, we spent just over four hours at the salon. Although we will not be returning because of the lengthy appointment and the overall quality of the services, I do want to recognize the manager for handling my concerns professionally and respectfully. Their willingness to review the pricing and address my questions was the saving grace of an otherwise disappointing experience.”

“They were able to accommodate two of us for manicure and pedicure (I called ahead and outlined what we wanted). We were seated immediately when we got there and offered a drink, which was great. For my pedicure, the tech did a great job on polish my my ankles are scratched up from the buffing she did on my feet. I’ve never had that happen before. After my pedicure and took me to sit and dry my feet and I asked/reminded about a manicure and she was surprised. She took me over to a chair for a manicure. the polish and cuticle care was good but my nails and VERY square (I asked for rounded edges), my pinky nails were filed crooked (I didn’t notice until we left), and some of my nails are almost concave (over filed maybe?). One of my other guests got a gel mani and they forgot to finish setting one nail so it’s still rough and sticky (she had to come home and do a clear coat). It took almost two hours to do a regular manicure and pedicure which is (to me) extremely long. I’ve always been in and out of salons in about an hour and historically have done gel. While the technique and end product were very disappointing, everyone was super nice. I just would advise to pay close attention and make sure you’re getting what you want! I am not used to having to micromanage an appointment so I didn’t, but will be trying somewhere else next time!”

“First time at this salon and I got a nail fill in. Zamirah did a great job with the inspo pic and was very thorough. The energy was calm and relaxing. I will love to make this my new go to place! My only “complaint” is that the acrylic was filed down MUCH thinner than what I walked in with and what I’m used to. Hoping there’s no breakage with that. Update on next service: As you can see from the picture my cuticles are red and swollen from my visit yesterday. I’ve never had them so tore up and hurting like this and I’ve been getting my nails done over 15 years. At least 5 of my cuticles were bleeding throughout the service and had to be sprayed with alcohol multiple times but not cared for properly. I did speak with the manager but a lot of my concerns were minimized. I was offered a discount for “next time” but love this is the type of actions that can cause infections and damage to my hands, nails, and cuticles. I was trying to be nice and understanding but this is truly unacceptable. I would like to add that clean tools were not used for my nail service because I forgot to tell the manager that. So dirty files were used on an open wound.”

“I.conic is the best in Charlotte! Everyone is so nice and extremely talented. I have been going to Skarleth for years and my nails and toes look perfect every time.”

“First time going to this salon, walked in on a Saturday and was being serviced within 15 minutes! The girls are all very welcoming and professional! I got a gel color on feet and builder gel French on my nails. Karla did both services for me and she was fantastic, welcoming and warm. I’m not usually one to talk during my appointments but she made me feel like I was talking with a long time friend! She was also very meticulous in her work making sure I liked the results every step of the way as if they were her own nails. I’m am extremely satisfied with their work and they have just earned themselves a life long client!”
