What people are saying

“I absolutely love my new haircut! Melissa did a wonderful job and made me feel comfortable and beautiful! Thank you for being so kind and awesome! I highly recommend Viva salon!”

“Great price walked out with eyebrows 10 out of 10 both the same shape! Let my anxiety put me into a panic attack the entire time. 🤦🏻‍♀️ staff was super understanding! Thank you!”

“I’ve gone to Viva for years and loved the friendly atmosphere. Jen usually does cuts my hair and I’ve had two other people cut it at Viva and I was very happy with my visit each time. This time, my haircut was just… awful. I’m happy that they got me in so soon, but the service was just bad. I feel like I lost my confidence, and I don’t take pride in my appearance anymore. I went in to get a haircut — five inches off because I havent gotten a haircut in seven months — but left with super choppy and uneven layers that I just wasn’t satisfied with. I just wanted the same cut I had, just shorter with the same small layers. I didn’t notice until the next day when I washed it, after the hairstylist (different person this time) immediately offered to curled my hair quickly after she was done. You could distinctly see how blunt the layers were, and I went in the next day to hopefully blend them a little more. They gave me the same stylist. I said that I just wanted the layers blended. I was in the chair and I thought I would just get smoother layers because I really didn’t want my hair any shorter — and I voiced that. In the chair, I was confused what the hell we were doing, but I told myself “She’s the professional, I just have to trust her.”The top layer became disgustingly short and made my hair look like a chin bob (even in the back) with a thin curtain underneath it. The face framing layers are longer around my face. My whole head of hair looks spiky, and I can’t even salvage it by curling my hair every day — the layers are too short. I can’t even fix it by just cutting my hair to one length either. I came in for a haircut wishing I never even had the idea to cut my hair. I don’t even want to go anywhere if I don’t have to. I honestly don’t want to go back to the salon ever again. Hair grows back, but it’s a long process. So tl;dr choose your stylist carefully (especially if you’re in life when you’re having major life events happening) and if they mess up don’t go to the same salon again. Speak up for yourself and ask what they are doing.”

“My hair looks good and everyone was really nice. I'd not been into this salon before and scheduled super last minute cause my hair was just too long and heavy. I called and was scheduled for about an hour later. I really appreciate them getting me in so soon and doing such a great job. If you see this, thank you Amy. (Also, I've been in some awfully uncomfortable salon chairs. Its a weird complement but the chair was really the most comfy I've had.)”

“Highly recommend Danielle and Toby! Danielle does such a great job on my hair and even though my daughter has very naturally curly hair which can be difficult to know how to cut (one wrong move and the effects from a prior botched cut by a former self-proclaimed curly hair ‘expert’ takes years to grow out) but she has really tried her best to listen and takes the time to do a thorough consultation before starting, even with my cuts as well. Definitely better with understanding straighter hair though, but we still love her anyway! ;) it’s a learning process! Some of my friends with curly hair see Toby and brag on him for doing a fantastic job, too. On a side note, I also LOVE how artistic Toby is and have nothing but praise for how he’s decorated the salon!”
